This has been a lifesaver for my fixer upper home. Removed the smoke smell from the previous owner within a day or two. We took it to basement to help with mildew smell before we begin renovations and it has helped a lot.
Our home smells fresher and cleaner now that I have been using the SafeAir Ultra as well as the SafeAir Mini for the past four years. It removes the fumes from fresh paint and wood stain smells quite effectively, along with the pollen that gets dragged in by people and pets. It also removes pet smells and pet dander, and thereby safely eliminating our allergy symptoms. Both devices are lightweight, with the Mini being extremely handy and portable. We take the Mini with us when we stay at hotels and it really makes the air feel cleaner and allergy-free.
